I've been teaching kitesurfing in Urla's wide, shallow bays for 9 years. I don't take anyone into the water until their kite control on land is solid — safety is non-negotiable for me. I closely follow every student's progress, from the water start to their first glide.

We practiced kite control on land for hours, so I was ready when I got in the water. Coach Eren puts a lot of emphasis on safety.
Thanks to Urla's shallow water and the instructor's patience, I managed a water start in the first week. Definitely recommend.
The way he explains the kite's wind window and the wind direction is very clear. I did my first glide with him — it was amazing.
Very knowledgeable and careful. The wind was erratic at the start of the season and a few lessons were postponed, but he was right to do so.
He had me practice the emergency release system over and over. That feeling of safety is priceless.
I learned to get up on the board faster than I expected. He was very helpful with choosing equipment, too.
