With a north wind that blows almost every day, Akyaka is one of the most reliable kitesurfing spots in Türkiye. I've been instructing here for 6 years. I take a holistic approach with beginners, from flying the kite to reading waves and currents, and learning to use safety equipment is an integral part of every lesson.

The Akyaka wind blows every day, so no lessons were cancelled. Coach Berk is great at teaching kite control.
The safety briefing was detailed. Sometimes when the group was large we had to wait our turn, but overall I'm happy.
Learning to read the currents and wind was really valuable. I did my first water start with confidence.
The instructor is knowledgeable, but the equipment was sometimes old. The lesson content was still good, though.
Patient and positive. He explains the wind window and body position clearly, and I progressed fast.
